‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ Returns for a Raunchy, Messy Season Three

There’s no sophomore slump here. The Sex Lives of College Girls will return for its third season on Nov. 21, just in time for Thanksgiving break. The coming-of-age comedy, co-created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, stars Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Reneé Rapp, and Alyah Chanelle Scott as seemingly mismatched suite mates. Set in New England at the fictional Essex College, the girls find themselves in array of messy experiences — that don’t always involve sex.
Along with revealing the release date, The Sex Lives of College Girls shared a teaser for Season Three, promising to bring their signature shenanigans back in full swing. Chalamet’s Kimberly accidentally matches with a suite mate’s dad on a dating app, Scott’s Whitney reckons with sorority life, Kaur’s Bela wants to sleep with the mascot, and Rapp’s Leighton can’t keep up with everyone’s poor decisions.
The Season Three news comes after Rapp announced her plans to exit the show after this season in order to focus on her music career. “Thank you Mindy, Justin, and everyone at Max for believing in me,” she wrote in a tweet in July. She continued with a promise for the final season: “I’m so excited for this season and I can’t wait for you to see what we have coming for the girls.”
